Ashe County Quilt Show, Part 2

Continuing my coverage of the Ashe County Piecemakers Quilt Guild show last weekend in West Jefferson, NC, today I will show some of the larger size quilts.

Jacobean Royalty, JoAnn Nichols.  Made from a modified pattern.  A big award winner!

Path of Past Quilts, Peg Hofstetter.

Autumn Cabin, Linda Harris.

Village of Plaid, Margie Miller.  Very cozy!

Star Light, Star Bright, Charlene Wilson.  I am a sucker for blue and white quilts!

This one has incredible points in each of the stars.  Lots of piecing!

Log Cabin and Stars, Kit Mason.  Lovely soft palette!

Simply Puzzling, Jo Seagle

'Ole Faithful, Carolyn Patton

Blowing Rock Library Raffle Quilt, Beth Stone, Debby Church, Charlene Wilson

This quilt is just beautiful, with a combination of piecing and applique in traditional country colors.

Mazie's Couture, JoAnn Nichols.   This quilt is made from scraps of dress fabrics and trims she made for her daughter.

Red White Blue, Claudette Jacobs.  This lovely quilt was made to celebrate her American citizenship.  Congratulations, Claudette!

Next time I will feature some of the wall-hangings and smaller quilts.
