There were many intriguing baubles and beads just dying to be used in a mixed media project...
some beautiful feathers and ephemera...
some lovely Tibetan prayer flags...
which are imprinted on one side with symbols and text.
My favorite gift is this little Funky Art Doll. She will become my muse in the studio!
In case this all seems a little "heathen," here are some pages from a vintage hymnal...
Thanks to Yvonne for such an amazing prize package, and also to my blogging buddy Vicki at Field Trips in Fiber. Vicki's "Field Tripping the Web" issue 100 had the heads-up about Yvonne's give-away. Vicki is having a pretty awesome series of give-aways herself featuring her hand-dyed fabric and some other things as she counts down the weeks to her retirement.
Will probably not be blogging for a few days...I am heading to St. Louis until Friday. Will report in later!

Happy to hear that your winnings arrived safely. The little funky art doll has some of my soy wax batik fabric wrapped around her along with some recycled sari yarn, vintage jewelry bits and of course her poly clay face. I'm glad you like her along with everything else. I will thank Vicki as well for sending people over.
congratulations on your new treasures! have a safe trip!
Safe travels! I love your new planter. What a great idea!
